My mother came into town last Thursday for her first visit to see her new granddaughter and for her first time in Kansas as well. Who knew any of this was on the horizon.
A trip to the toy store was one of the first orders of business. What else?
An ample amount of cuddling and the requisite touring around our little town were also on the agenda.
Everyone was duly impressed. We have had a great visit. So nice to see this place and our life through the eyes of a loving grandmother after the exhaustion of the last few months. It is nice to have her here.
